About CSE

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was formally established in the year academic year 2009-10. Our department was started with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Computer Science and Engineering. It has evolved as a comprehensive student-centric approach designed to add significant value to the learner in an integrated manner through lab sessions, assignments, trainings, seminars, and independent study.

  • Abstract should be a one page write up in IEEE format
  • Maximum 12 Slides
  • Hard Copy of the slides should be submitted during the presentation


  • Presentation can last for maximum of seven minutes
  • Five minutes for presentation
  • Two minutes for queries
  • Paper Submission Deadline : August 30,2017.


  • Team can consists maximum of 2 members
  • Basic Knowledge in Arduino or any other IoT kit (ex:Galileo)
  • No pre cooked codes are allowed


  • The kit will be provided during the event
  • First round consists of MCQs on Basic connectivity, Hardware, etc,..
  • Second round involves working on assigned theme for one hour

Mobile application

  • Team can consist maximum of four members
  • Laboratory with internet facility will be provided
  • Themes will be provided on the spot
  • Participants must bring their own development tools
  • Source code should not be copied from internet

Web Application

  • Consists of two rounds - prelim and final
  • Internet facility will be provided in both the rounds
  • Preliminary round invloves designing front end
  • Final round involves development using any known backend programming languages like PHP, JSP, etc..
  • Tools and themes will be provided on the spot

Short film

  • Length of film can be maximum of ten minutes
  • Copied contents not allowed
  • Slide Shows not allowed


  • Individual participation
  • Photo should be in .jpg format
  • Copyright materials are restricted & do not copy images from internet
  • Photo should be submitted on or before the submission date.
  • The photos submitted will be uploaded by us in our facebook page.
  • The photo which gets the maximum likes will be called for the final round.

Fix the Bugs

  • Two members per team
  • Questions will be from c and c++ only
  • It consists of two rounds
  • First round consists of simple MCQs, secret questions to be solved within 30 minutes
  • In second round, program with errors will be given to solve within 1 hour

Connect it

  • Two members per team
  • No Network facilities will be provided
  • Task will be based on given configuration
  • It will be based on both the physical and Emulator configurations
  • First round will be physical configuration, Second round will be based on switching and Third round will be based on Routing

Explore your geeks

  • Team of maximum two students can participate
  • Topic or object will be given on the spot
  • Need to promote the product innovatively within the given time
  • Overall Marketing skills will be tested

Load your Brain

  • Team of maximum two students can participate
  • Participants need to crack the question in order to get the clue.
  • Each clue directs the participants to the next folder
  • Within the limited time frame, participants needs to find all the clues from the folders
  • Maximum time to complete the task is 45 minutes
